About Your Photo:
What kind of photograph of my child do you recommend I send in?
We recommend you send us a snapshot or portrait photo of your child that meets the following guidelines:
  • Your child’s face is at least the size of a quarter.
  • Your child’s face is well-focused.
  • Your child’s face is not obstructed by any object.
  • Your child is not wearing a hat or bow.
No Polaroid photographs, please.
We reserve the right to refuse any customer submitted photos at our sole discretion.
Can the photograph I submit have people in it other than my child?
Yes, as long as we can see your child’s entire face. We will separate your child from the background. Just make sure you indicate which person is your child.
Can I send more than one photograph if I’m not sure which one will be best?
Sure! If you have trouble picking, we’ll be happy to choose for you. Only one photo will be used for each product.
If I mail my photo, will it be returned?
Yes, we will send your original photo(s) along with your completed order to the shipping address you’ve indicated. We do keep a copy of the photo in our files in order to simplify things if you decide to purchase any additional personalised products in the future.
How do I send you the photo?
You can send us your photo(s) in three different ways:
  • You can upload your photo along with your order via our website.
  • You can send your photo(s) via e-mail to info@kideo.com.au Photos must be attached as a JPEG file (.jpg).Please include your Order Confirmation number, Child`s name and Product ordered in the subject of the email.
  • You may also mail us your photo(s). Please write your child`s name and your confirmation number on the back of your photo and mail it to: Kideo.com.au – Photo Department PO Box 833 Samford QLD 4520
If I send in my photo after I’ve placed my order, will you know whose it is?
Just write your child’s first name and your confirmation number on the back of the photo and we’ll match it up to your order.
What part of my child’s photo will you use?
We will use only your child’s face. In our videos and other products, your child’s face appears on a cartoon body, so it does not matter if your child’s entire body is shown in the picture or if your child is sitting or standing.
Can I send in more than one photo if I ordered more than one product for a child?
Yes. If you have ordered more than one product for a single child and have a preference as to which photo goes with which product, please indicate this when you send the photos. We will use one photo in each product.
Do you ever modify the photo I send in?
We correct for red eye and adjust the brightness, contrast and size. Otherwise, your child’s face appears as it appears in your photo.
Professional Photo Disclaimer
All professionally taken photographs are copyrighted by the photographer or company that created the images. If the photo you are submitting was taken by a professional photographer, you may need to get a release. We are required by law to verify that our customer has permission from the owner of any copyrighted image before we can use the image to make your photo-personalised products.

Can more than one child be featured in a Kideo Product?
Each Kideo Product has been developed and designed to be personalised for only one child.
Will my child’s first and last name be featured in the Kideo Products I have ordered?
Only your child’s first name will be featured in the Kideo video products you have ordered. Most of Kideo personalised video products include your child’s first name being spoken throughout the video, and your child’s first name is printed on all of the video packaging.
What will my child be wearing in the video?
Kideo products feature one gender-neutral outfit (usually overalls) for both boys and girls.
For what ages are Kideo Products most appropriate?
Our products appeal to a range of ages. Please refer to the description of a particular product to find the age appropriateness.
Can I order a Kideo product for an adult?
v While Kideo products typically appeal to children, people of all ages (and some pets, too!) have enjoyed being Kideo stars!
What if my child has an unusual name?
If your child’s name is not one of the thousands of names that we have recorded in our database, we will contact you. If you feel that we may not have the correct pronunciation, please call us at 1300 662 452 and we can tell you if we have your name of choice.
Do you put greetings in the beginning of the videos?
We do not put greetings at the beginning of our videos, although your child’s name is mentioned over and over throughout the video.
How will my child’s name be used to personalise the products?
K.I.D Productions uses the latest technology to record an image of your child’s face and insert it onto the cartoon body of the main character in our videos and printed products. Characters speak your child’s first name throughout the video, and your child’s name appears on the video packaging.
Do your videos come in languages other than English?
No, our videos are only available in English at this time.
Placing an Order:
My child’s date of birth is requested on the Kideo order form. Will the birthday be featured in the products I order?
Your child’s date of birth is not featured in the products you order. We request the birthday on the order form so that we can make you aware of special birthday offers from Kideo.
How long will it take to get my products once you’ve received my order?
We will ship your video products within 10 business days from the time we receive your complete order.
Can I get my order faster than that?
Yes, for an additional charge, K.I.D Productions can rush your order. We offer two rush options:
5 Day Express
For an additional $5.00 we will process and ship your order within 5 business days from the day we receive your completed order. 5 Day Express orders will be shipped via Austalia Post Express Service . Processing 5 Business days + 1- 2 Days for delivery.
2 Day Express
For an additional $10.00, we will process your video within 2 business days from the day we receive your complete order. 2 Day Express is only available for orders placed over the phone. Please call our Sales Department at 1300 662 452 to order this service. 2 Day Express orders will be shipped via Australia Post Express Service. Processing 2 Business days + 1- 2 Days for Delivery ( some regional areas may take longer)

How will my Kideo products be shipped to me?
Non-express Kideo products are shipped via Australia Post, (expect 2-5 business days for delivery).
Can I use a check or money order?
Yes, if you want to pay by check or money order, please go to the homepage and print a downloadable order form that can be sent via mail with your payment of choice. If you will be purchasing a product with a personal check, please allow additional time for receipt of your order. We must receive payment in full before production of you order will begin. Please allow an additional 5 business days for delivery on check orders. Please contact customer service with any questions.
Can I add to an order that has already been placed?
Yes, you can add to an order within 48 hours of originally placing the order. Please call to speak to one of our sales representatives at 1300 662 452 and have your confirmation number available.
Can I return my order?
Due to the personalisation involved in creating our products, all sales are final. Please see return policy for details.
I can see the video, but I can’t hear anything.
Check to make sure the speakers on your computer are turned on and/or turned up.
Why is it taking so long to load the video on my computer?
This is a streaming audio/video file and it takes about 1-2 minutes to load on a regular 56K modem.
Why can I hear the audio but the video is static?
Please adjust the preference of your Real Player for the most reliable video by opening Real Player and going to Tools-->Preferences-->Playback settings. Set buffer play to 45 seconds. Then click on Hardware in the prefernces menu and Video Card Compatiblity at the bottom should be set to most reliable or Use Optimized Video Display Unchecked (depending on your version of the Real Player).
